Drakes' Thank me Later' Released

The moment has finally come, Drake's much anticipated album has finally been released. His sophomore album has left the media in a frenzy and artist such at Bun B, Jay Z and Kanye West predicting this to be the album of the year, as far as saying that it will sell 500 000 copies in it's first week.

"The album has already been leaked but this shouldn't impact albums sales" says Drake in and interview with Billboard 100.

I had the opportunity of sampling a few tracks, to be honest I am a bit disappointed. There are a few smashing tracks but this album caters more towards the ladies.

I love Lil Wayne verses on the track " Miss me", you guys give it a sample.

Drogba Cleared to play with Cast Today

If you’re a big fan of ’90s Britpop, then today’s headlines may mislead you into being very excited. Bad news is that Didier Drogba will not be appearing with the band Cast in some sort of weird rap reunion tour. Good news is that Cote d’Ivoire striker Drogba – who famously fractured his forearm in the build up to World Cup 2010, has had his cast approved by FIFA. Which means that if he’s fit enough to play against Portugal today, then he’ll be able to do so while wearing the cast.

We haven’t seen the cast yet, but apparently both the referees and representatives from the Portugal team are happy that the cast won’t be a menace to opposition players. Drogba on the other hand, might be. We’ll find out if he makes the starting lineup soon, so follow along with George on our Portugal vs Cote d’Ivoire.

UPDATE: Word is that Drogba has been named on the bench. So he won’t start, but he might play.

Bafana is Going Places

According to the 2010 Scorecard, an in-depth analysis of World Cup preparations, South Africa has exceeded all expectations and leapt past Germany in terms of preparations and excitement.

Dr Nikolaus Eberl, 2010 analyst and chief executive of Brandovation, said the week's celebration had sent shock waves through the world.

"The celebrations on Wednesday were unprecedented. Never before has the host country's fans celebrated before kick-off. We were shocked at what unfolded throughout the country," he said, adding that there was little excitement before Germany's World Cup in 2006.

"In Germany there was a dampened mood. It was very different (from) South Africa. People were anxious, moody and very unhappy with the national team's performance," he said.

The nation came together only after Germany had passed the group stages.

"Only 8 percent of fans backed their national team, so there was no vibe at all," said Eberl.

"South Africans showed the world that they can host a tournament of any scale. It shows how much locals care about their country and how proud they are, it was fantastic and came as a shock to many of us."

Not only have the celebrations and excitement spurred on Bafana Bafana, Fifa, too, was backing the national team now more than ever.

"Fifa has come to believe that the host team can get very far in the tournament. (It has) witnessed the entire country backing Bafana Bafana," said Eberl.

Coach Carlos Alberto Parreira has also won the world body's approval.

"Fifa has so much belief in Bafana because Carlos has led them to a 12-game unbeaten streak," said Eberl.

Germany's opening ceremony was a disaster.

"Fifa (was) forced to cut down the opening ceremony for the 2006 World Cup to only half an hour because (it) feared the grass would burn. Franz Beckenbauer was also disallowed from participating in the opening ceremony," said Eberl.

"Fans booed Sepp Blatter when he came out to speak and production had to be halted during the opening. Fans were also disappointed that they could not drink German beer in the stadium."

Eberl believes South Africa is on track to host the most successful tournament yet.

Eminems' road to "Recovery"

Eminem's "Recovery" album is due fewer than three weeks away, and the rapper has unveiled its official tracklist -- including its A-list collection of guest contributors -- on his website.

Rihanna, Pink, Lil Wayne and Kobe each contributed vocals to the "Relapse" follow-up, with Dr. Dre, Just Blaze, DJ Khalil, Mr. Porter, Jim Jonsin, Alex Da Kid and Boi-1da as producers.

"Recovery" contains a whopping 16 tracks, with its current single "Not Afraid" sitting near the middle. The video has been shot, with its premiere imminent, out some time on Saturday (June 5); Eminem told Paris radio station Skyrock FM yesterday (June 2) that "The overall concept is basically just being in a dark place and trying to get to the light."

On his esteemed guests: "As far as the songs with Pink and Rihanna ... when I did the song that I did with Pink, I laid my parts first and kind of heard her on the record and felt that she would smash this record. And the other one I did with Rihanna is one of those tracks that I felt like only she could pull it off, only she could do it."

Here is the tracklist to "Recovery":

1) Cold Wind Blows
2) Talkin’ 2 Myself (featuring Kobe)
3) On Fire
4) Won’t Back Down (featuring Pink)
5) W.T.P.
6) Going Through Changes
7) Not Afraid
8) Seduction
9) No Love (featuring Lil Wayne)
10) Space Bound
11) Cinderella Man
12) 25 to Life
13) So Bad
14) Almost Famous

15) Love the Way You Lie (featuring Rihanna)
16) You’re Never Over

This is going to be so , sweet I get to see both my favorite Rappers compete for album sales. Who do you thing is going to win, Eminem or Drake?

Drakes Debut Album leaked

It was inevitable. Drake's Thank Me Later leaked to the Internet on Tuesday night, but the Toronto MC isn't sweating it too hard.

"I gave away free music for years so we're good over here," Drake tweeted. "Just allow it to be the soundtrack to your summer and ENJOY! JUNE 15th!"

Just as he'd told MTV News months ago, "Fireworks" with Alicia Keys opens his first full-length album. Drizzy is candid from the start, rhyming about Rihanna, sharing his hope that his relationship with Lil Wayne never sours due to success and admitting his insecurity about adjusting to fame. "Fireworks," "Light Up" (featuring Jay-Z) and "Miss Me" with Lil Wayne had all leaked long before this week.

The new leak introduces fans to Drake's second Thank Me Later collaboration with Kanye West (Ye also produced the single "Find Your Love"), "Show Me a Good Time." Much like another cut on the LP, "Fancy" with T.I. and Swizz Beatz, "Show Me a Good Time" is that fun, summertime, mid-tempo dance record that the women will adore. It starts with some frantic sampled yells, but Drizzy comes in and smoothes out the situation with his voice.

"How did I end up here with you?" he sings on the chorus. "After all the things I've been through/ It's been one of those days/ You try to forget about it/ Take a shot and let it out."

And seconds later, he urges, "Show me a good time."

Later in the song, Drake raps about the Wu-Tang Clan and compares himself to the late, great O.D.B. He goes on to tell the lady in the song he wants to "kick it" with her like A Tribe Called Quest. Then he reflects on the haters.

"People really hate it when a backpack rapper gets rich and starts living that life, dawg/ It feels like when you get into that paper, hip-hop hates ya/ They would do it just like I do if they could; it's in our nature," he proclaims in rhyme. The verse ends with Drake declaring that he's made it.

The very next record, the Nicki Minaj-featured "Up All Night," has a darker sound, but the rhymes stay B-boy boastful as Drake celebrates his success. In true hip-hop form, he's not shy about basking in his own accolades.

"Shout out to the fact that I'm the youngest n---a doing it," says Drake, who also affirms he has the game "in his pocket."

Nicki comes in on the second verse and the lyrical assault doesn't let up. "Which bitch you know made a mil off a mixtape?" she asks, keeping the animation in her rhyme to a minimum and instead levying insults to her adversaries. "We got the hawks, and I ain't talking about the Peach State."

Noah "40" Shebib, Boi-1nda, Tone Mason, Omen and Timbaland are the other producers on the album.

Do you think the leak will hurt the success of Drake's Thank Me Later? Are you waiting for the actual release? Talk about it in the comments.

Thought Process

When time is running out the worst place you can be is right on the starting line.
Some of us get an early start but that ultimately leads to an early finish.

A few people just choose to run forever not concerned about whether the race is over or not. We are aware of certain things that should remain our guidelines but yet we don't abide by our own understanding.

I try to avoid a fictitious life by a striving to reach a humble sense of wisdom, it's my self righteous suicidal nature that leaves me fighting for everyone else Liberation.

It's hard for me to turn my back on you, looking out for number was never my strong point.I will definitely get hurt in the process but my reward is the smile I see on your faces when things are finally going right .

So I choose not to run, I choose not to race, I will be the person that picks you up when you fall before the finish line. The face you see when you look up might not be the one you expected, life is a hurdle so dust your pants and get over it.

My wealth comes from love, as long at you love, the world can not offer anything better.I have made mistakes , some would much rather linger on it but would much let it linger.

Lost Girl

There is a hole in her heart, It lies heavy with doubt.
Her emotions are imprisoned in her ,head suddenly her thoughts want out.

She holds a brave face
but her eyes carry a sadness that her mascara cannot erase.

She cannot move even though she wants to.
She stares in the mirror looking for the girl she once new.

She scratches deep and bleeds underneath the surface.
She wants to run but her feet cannot find the purpose.

What is she running from and why is she standing.
Is it a sorrow or does she find life just too demanding.

A thugs love

A SAD GANSTA ONCE CRIED, HER LOVE FOR ME HAS DIED. A GIRL HE ONCE HAD, LEFT HIM FEELING SAD. AT NIGHT HE LOOKS UP AT THE SKY HE TRIES TO HIDE HIS SADNESS BY GETTING HIGH. HE PUTS THE 38 TO HIS HEAD THINKIN HE WAS BETTER OFF DEAD, THE WEED BURNS HIS LIP,AS HE HOLDS THE JOINT BY THE TIP, A TEAR GOES DOWN HIS FACE, AS HE HOLDS THE GUN IN PLACE, HE PULLS. THE TRIGGER THE BULLET CUTS THROUGH LIKE A KNIVE, HE LAYS IN A PUDDLE OF BLOOD, HE HAS TAKEN HIS LIFE, HE WROTE A NOTE, AND PUT IT IN HIS HAND, TELLING HER HE THOUGHT HE WAS HER ONLY MAN I SAW THE NOTE AND TOOK THIS QUOTE: THIS IS WHAT IT READ, "THIS BLOOD I SHED, IS FROM A BULLET TO THE HEAD OVER AND OVER I CRIED AND CRIED, WITH ME ALL OUR MEMORIES HAVE DIED, OUR LOVE I TRIED TO SAVE IT DID NOT HAPPEN SO I TAKE IT WITH ME TO THE GRAVE

A Fools Logic

A wise man sees failure as progress a fool divorces his knowledge then misses the logic and loses his soul in the process.

Obsessed with nonsense with a character that has no content.
A fools defense is his offense but neglects to see that this pattern is constant.

We are all fools to a certain extent,it's life's little experiment and the outcome is evident,it is up to the wise to determine what's relevant.

Just a Though

We try living a simple life but ironically it seems harder to live. Are we holding ourselves in captivity, is there some kind of unexplainable force or is it something completely obvious. Can we really avoid unhappiness, life seems to have more downs than ups, don't you think? Well, we can try to adopt a positive attitude, truthfully it's only a matter of time until the next dose of sadness comes knocking at your birthday party ,so to speak. Yes, we can look at the good things life has to offer but does that honestly stop the pain? Most of us have been through some really testing times and might want to prefer to gouge the eyes out of the concept called reality. People in our lives make life worth leaving I do not disagree but it's an endless cycle, never finding stability. So is being happy feeling happy and looking the part the rest of the other time? What is really going on in your head right now? Are you really happy? If so, what kind of happiness is it and will it last? I think we should embrace what we have for the moment and make it count because we don't know when it might be taken away from us and sometimes it never returns.

Be Free

It's the dawn of a new era. Trend seems to be scarves that have nothing to do with the war on terror. Maybe it’s better to forget, let’s give everybody a second chance. Goodbye BBC, MTV has news of the latest dance. Are we that ignorant not to see what the real case is. The man on the TV seems to know it and throws it to our faces. His wealth was built by your sweat of cause ....yet he tells you this wealth will never be yours. We are all striving to be different and the result is... we all just the same. So much has been lost in life but to you and I this is just a game. I think that we have become socially retarded. Our values in life have been left emotionally discarded There is a voice of reason; fuck the media storm… my choice is treason. I refuse to change with the seasons; I will stand tall like the faith of Jesus. I will not be quite, I will cause a riot, persecute me like Pontis Pilot no…… I won’t be silent Even if I have to stand alone and hold a silver microphone, screaming to the world and I won’t stop until I’m heard. I am willing to sacrifice to free your mind from this depressing device, listen, and hear my advice. It cuts deep like a jaggered knife; my aim is not to kill but to save your life.

The Deadly Harvest

Our hands do what our eyes have seen. Our mind bares a burden that only our conscious can clean. What we think we sow is sometimes scattered all around. From hills to valley but many may not even reach the ground. Even if they're good seeds we throw the bad may still grow and so and so our thoughts may go. How the roots got infested is our fault somehow. We are left eventually with no choice but to plough. Occasionally the rain may fall and the crop may grow tall However, too much rain makes it hard for others to gain. Only the bad weeds living amongst the sad trees are to remain. It’s kind of similar to what we feel in life when we live amongst wickedness and strife. Worse is some of us may want to blame the people between us but truthfully this evil lies within us. We are the ones who cultivate these deeds just like the farmer we couldn’t tell between the seeds. It’s then under the circumstance we show our stature surviving the seasons of life but not falling to its capture. Whether or not it’s good seeds we grow , it’s you that is in control.

Your Equal

We met at an awkward time Your predicament was the same as mine, Both deserted by our lovers, who we would soon start to see through, Who would of thought today our hearts would be each others equal. They say If you love somebody, let them go, for if they return, they were always yours. And if they don't, they never were, Even after many obstacles our love would never deter. We come to love not by finding a perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly. and you will come to understand that love heals everything Eventually In the end love is all there is.......

The Room

There is this little room inside of me.It's empty, dark and lonely. The windows are made from crystal but they do not break.the room gets bigger while the space gets smaller. There is no furniture only a long wooden chair.time does not exist in this place but It can surely run out. There is an airy chill that haunts the room.I hear voices outside but they make no sense.I want to scream for help but what good will it do.they are trapped too, looking straight at you.

Heat Wave

Deep I sink into the desert sands No life is found within these arid lands. The surface of my feet ,proceed through the curses of this heat. It's nearly unbearable to endure. The site of flowing element ,my strides and life will secure. It’s not any different to a burning hell The pupils in my eyes are turning pale. Hope has died and the angels have cried, My destiny seems dim glancing through the hazy views of tears I’m within. Death is the only thing certain, a waterless ocean my life is my curtain.

The reign of my pain

When will it ever stop,I've watched it fall countlessly drop after drop. Its cold i can feel it creeping inside my bones. It only gets worse you can see it seep amongst the stones. Why do i doubt sunlight o' the negative aura. The window panes are small... but my pain only grows taller. The empathy i feel looks towards the sky,I feel your pain but the difference is when it rains.... its you who gets to cry

Nothing

nothing feels better than being loved...but how do you love someone who feels nothing?how can we live with something that counts for nothing, when everything matters no one ever really cares but yet we lose so much from the things we gain ,like our lives lessons that we've learnt from pain.why is there a constant emptyness even when we are truelly happy?

Letting Go

Sometimes when we move we have to leave things behind. It's not always a good feeling but you need to read between the lines. We search for something new because we can live within past. We can pretend to be happy but our emotions are just a mask People change but sometimes the situation remains the same. Sometimes no matter how hard we try our relationship just becomes a name when things cannot be fixed do we just give up and move on. or are we just scared to admit that person was the right one all along? I have to leave or else i will never be able to know. It will be hard for but I cant be with you anymore. The pain of no longer having you in my life,is one that's hard for me to bare. you have grown so much baby you no longer need me there. It's not the time for me I hope you understand ,I just wanted you to know it was a honour being your man

Taxi

I am driving home from work in a rusted taxi.
Tourist taking pictures of the mountain while a kid starves close by a shack scene.

Blank stares, thoughts seem suspended, everyone tends to be lost in their own deep agenda.

So I take the minutes on my cell phone and count the seconds to my way home.

Its hard to take this life serious, a rat race with no cheese the thought seems hilarious.

No mystery,It’s the boredom that plagued human life, most of us live a life of misery just to end up not making history.

The rudeness of reality ,it's abrupt selfish behavior has been confused with normality.

Yet it still sucks, kids get fucked by brutes for a few bucks while politicians are at their tailors getting their suits tucked.
